Acworth, William [1880-1949. UK. Architect]

 

William Acworth was born Beckenham, London, England on 28 January 1880 and studied at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, from where he graduated in 1903, and at the Architectural Association Schools in London, England. After being articled to Thomas Edward Collcutt (1840-1924), he commenced independent practice as an architect in London in 1907. He was active as an architect until at least 1914. He died in Surrey on 19 December 1949

Dumany, R. N., M.V.O.; various houses at Gerrard’s Cross; additions to schools at West End, Surrey; and other works, including decorations to various London houses and hotels.
