Damon & Cie was closely associated for many years with the cabinetmakers Maison Krieger, founded by Antoine and Nicolas Krieger in 1826 at 17, Rue Saint-Nicolas, Paris,
In 1880 Krieger and Damon & Colin merged and the name changed to Krieger, Damon et Cie. By the 1890s the firm was known as Maison Krieger A. Damon & Colin. Their premises were located at 74, Rue Du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine.
In c.1909 the firm became Colin & Courcier, however, the firm continued to bear the signature Krieger or Maison Krieger.
