Sophia Adler was active as a textile artist in New York City in the 1960s. ‘Flowers of Dusk’ an appliqué wall hanging of silk and cotton by her featured in the Northeast regional section of ‘Craftsmen USA ‘66’ at Delaware Art Center [Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts] in Wilmington, Delaware in 1966. The hanging is illustrated in ‘Craft Horizons’ vol.26, no.3, June 1966 (p.75).
