Fred Adams was active as a stained glass artist in the California during the 1970s. His work ‘U.S. Dependence on Oil (1960-1990)’ is illustrated in ‘Craft Horizons’ vol.36, no.3, June 1976 (p.32). The piece featured in the exhibition ‘100 Artists Commemorate 200 Years’, a bicentennial exhibition held at Xerox Square Exhibit Center, Rochester, New York, 6 February-21 March 1976.
