Aarikka [1954-. Finland. Manufacturers of Decorative Objects]

 

Aarikka was founded in Finland in 1954. They manufacturer jewellery and decorative objects, most of which are handmade in Finland. They currently [2009] operate 7 stores and have over 300 dealers throughout Finland. Their products are sold in the leading department stores Stockmann, Sokos and Kodin Ykkönen. Among designers who have created pieces for Aarikka are Aino Favén, Jorma Vennola, Jukka Rintala, Tuula Falck, Markku Salo, Paola Suhonen, Kalle Kuusela, Elina Helenius, Kaisli Kiuru and Saija Malila
