Alan Sitzer Associates [1964-. USA. Exhibition Design Firm]

 

Alan Sitzer Associates was a design firm founded by Alan Sitzer in New York City in 1964. They specialised in the design of exhibitions and display systems and were responsible for the design of the Bell Pavilion at the New York World’s Fair of 1964-65, and the an exhibition for Bell Systems at Expo ‘74, an international exposition held in Spokane, Washington in 1974. After having worked with Sitzer on the design of numerous exhibitions for several years, in 1985 Joe and Cindy Drake Spuria formed Sitzer:Spuria [later known as Sitzer Spuria Studios], an architecture and interior design firm based in Carrboro, North Carolina. They also in turn established Enforma, a full-service exhibition service, which designs display systems for trade fairs. Their clients has included IBM, Philips Electronics, Chase and Axis Communications.
