A.C. Cossor Ltd. originated as a manufacturer of scientific glassware founded by Alfred Charles Cosser in Clerkenwell, London in 1859. During the twentieth century the company evolved into an electronic glassware company and manufacturer of radios and television sets. In 1961 A.C. Cossor was acquired by the US company Raytheon.
