AB Textilatelier Licium [-. Sweden. Textile Design Studio]

 

AB Textilatelier Licium was a textile design studio based in Stockholm, Sweden. It was founded some time before 1909. A photograph of a hand-woven linen cushion cover designed by Ann-Marie Johansson and produced by Licium is illustrated in ‘Decorative Art’ 1940 (p.126); and photographs of ‘Town Planning’, a hand-printed fabric designed by Susan Gröndal, and ‘Stockholm’ and ‘Lapponia’, two a hand-printed textiles designed by Sofia Widen and produced by Licium are illustrated in ‘Decorative Art’ 1950-51 (pp.103, 107, 108)
