Adie Bros. Ltd. [also known as Adie Brothers Ltd.] was founded in Birmingham, England in 1879.n The company’s hallmarks were registered in 1902. In 1906 they were incorporated with the firms McKewan & Adie (manufacturers of silversmiths, jewellers and gold) and Edward Souter Barnsley (case and box makers).
Adie Bros. Ltd was managed by Percy Adie (1878 until 1901 when Tony Adie and Frank Taylor took over the running of the business. In the late 1960s the firm was absorbed into British Silverware. It closed in 1968
