Aeolian Company [1887-1985. USA. Piano/Organ/Phonograph Manufacturers]

 

The Aeolian Company was founded in New York City piano maker William B. Tremaine as the Æolian Organ & Music Co. in 1887. After a series of mergers, it became the Aeolian Corporation. The firm filed for bankrupcy in 1985.
