Maurice Spencer Rowe Adams [commonly known as Maurice Adams and as Maurice S.R. Adams] was born in London, England on 2 May 1887. He was qualified as an architect and was elected an associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (A.R.I.B.A.) in 1911. He was also a furniture designer and was active in this field until at least the late 1930s.
