Aeppli, Christoph [-. Switzerland. Graphic/Poster Designer]

 

Christoph Aeppli was a Basle, Switzerland-based graphic designer and poster artist. Two examples of his work are featured in ‘Graphis’ vol.13, no.69, January/February 1957 (p.39) - a folder designed for Weder-Grabmäler, a gravestone maker in Basle, and a record cover for Heimbrod, Stamm & Co., Basle. Between the 1950s and 1970s Aeppli designed numerous posters particularly for the Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen (SBB) and Knorr.
