Advertising Designers [-. USA. Design Studio]

 

Advertising Designers was a design studio based in Los Angeles, California in the 1950s. Packaging for Shalk’s tile paste designed by Lou Frimkess and art directed by Advertising Designers is illustrated in ‘Graphis’ vol.10, no.51, 1954 (p.16). The packaging featured in the Art Directors Club of New York’s 32nd Annual Exhibition held in 1953. Advertising Designers specialised in the design of annual reports and examples of annual reports they designed for Monterey Oil Co., Seaboard Finance Co., Rheem Manufacturing Co., and the District of Columbia Tuberculosis Association in Washington, DC, are illustrated in ‘Graphis’ vol.13, no.70, March\April 1957 (pp.156-157)
