Abbatt, Lindley Charles [1909-1989. UK. Copywriter]
Lindley Charles Abbatt was born on 25 November 1909. In the 1039 England and Wales Register his occupation was given Assistant Editor. He subsequently worked as a copywriter for the London-based advertising agency W.S. Crawford Ltd.. He wrote the copy for a campaign for the Birmingham, England-based lock manufacturer Wilmot Breeden which was discussed in an article, 'Meet fool - lock boot' in 'Art and Industry' December 1958, pp.198-199. He died in Surrey in 1989
