Aeschbach, Hans [1911-1999. Switzerland. Graphic/Poster Designer/Painter]
Hans Aeschbach was born in Burg, Switzerland, on 11 August 1911 and attended the Kunstgewerberschule in Zurich. He then spent four years studying in Paris and Italy before returning to Switzerland. He lived in Zumikon, Zurich and worked as a painter and graphic designer. He designed posters for Bally and for Schweizer Modewoche held in Zurich in May 1943. He also designed travel posters for Swiss tourist authorities. Aeschbach died in Zumikon, Switzerland, on 28 April 1999.
