Adamson, Henrietta Violet [1877-1951. UK. Painter/Poster Designer]

 

Henrietta Violet Adamson [also known as H.V. Adamson] was born in 1877 and lived in Kemptown, Brighton at the beginning of the twentieth century and later moved to Cornwall. She exhibited at the Society of Women Artists in 1905 and 1908. With Gwynedd May Hudson she designed a poster, 'An Exhibition of Works by Members of the Brighton Arts Club at Brighton Public Art Galleries'. Adamson was also a member of the Brighton Guild of Applied Art and participated in their exhibition at Brighton Art Gallery in 1912.

Anderson's death was recorded near Cambourne, Cornwall in 1951
