Adolf Wirz [also known as Wirz Werbeberatung and Wirz Werbung AG] was an advertising agency founded by Adolf Wirz (1905-1997) in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1936. The firm’s first major client was the canning factory Roco for whom they produced an advertising campaign for the recycling of cans. Later clients included Frisco ice cream, PKZ, Coca-Cola, and the Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Marketing. In 1998 Wirz became a partner in the global advertising group BBDO Worldwide. Today Wirz consists of 12 communication consulting firms.
